We’re thrilled to share the latest creation from our Voices of Valor program at Lyons VA Medical Center in New Jersey! The powerful new song "Home"—written and performed by our newest Veteran group, S.A.L.T. (Souls All Linked Together)—is now available as a music video.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the Veterans who took part in this session. Your courage, creativity, and voices made this project possible. We are honored to amplify your message and your music.
This moving track was recorded at Sound on Sound Studios in Montclair, NJ, and produced by Benny Harrison, who also performed alongside Laura Blaine (saxophone) and Kyle Cassel (drums/recording engineer). The song officially debuted on June 16, 2025.
We are incredibly grateful to Lyons VA Medical Center for partnering with us and to The Blanche & Irving Laurie Foundation for their generous support, which made this program possible.

The Voices of Valor group from Veteran’s Haven South recently recorded their new song, “Be Strong — Keep Holding On”. Their CD Release event was held- December 30, 2020. Please enjoy this amazing song that was written and performed by our Veterans. Their words give us hope and inspiration going into the new year. Good bye 2020, hello 2021!
The participants named their group “Kcaffon” in memory of veteran participant Kcaffon Hale, who passed away from a heart attack on December 6. The Musician/Facilitators were Jennifer Lampert and Ron Haney, and the 9-week session was sponsored by The Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation.

"Women of Valor" by Lite Artillery - December 17, 2019 (MFAS- Voices of Valor)

The Lyons VA Hospital group, Lite Artillery, wrote their powerful song with Musician/Facilitators Jennifer Lampert and Ron Haney and recorded their track at Kaleidoscope Sound Studios in Union City, NJ.

The Voices of Valor veterans of Veteran's Haven North, "The Travelers," have released their powerful new song, "Out of the Darkness." Their CD Release Party was attended by friends and fellow residents. Musician/facilitators were Benny Harrison and Susan Didrichsen. "New Thing" by Kings of Haven - June 26, 2019 (MFAS- Voices of Valor)
The Voices of Valor group at Veteran's Haven North had their CD Release Party. The "Kings of Haven" VOV group will share their new song, "New Thing." Musician/Facilitators are Benny Harrison and Susan Didrichsen. The PNC Foundation sponsored this cycle of VOV. The group wrote and recorded the song, working with Benny and Susan, and recorded at Kaleidoscope Sound Studios in Union City, NJ.
